FRIENDS FROM HERNE MEET AUSSIE SANTA

Proving that friendship knows no cultural boundaries, Herbert and Inge from Friendship Force of Herne club in Germany enjoy an early Christmas get-together with friends from previous exchanges. Herne club was hosted by our club in 2001 and some of our members have had the pleasure of return hosting when visiting their German friends thru' the intervening years. This time our Deutsche friends were back “Down Under” and this group of happy revellers made sure they were well entertained. They also had the pleasure of meeting an Aussie Santa..! Having dined well, sat on Santa's knee for our pressies and sung some carols we sat back in anticipation of the promised musical delights to come. At great expense we were entertained (???) by these luscious ladies and georgeous gentlemen.....! From left to right - ABBA - Also Known As - Eric, Briony, Davinia and Charles - The song they performed was - wait for it - “Dancing Queen”. The slideshow below says it all.
